Visiting Us and Age Requirements

All rules are subject to change and will be enforced by Paws Awhile Cat Cafe and staff. Guests are expected to positively interact with cats at all times while abiding by Paws Awhile Cat Cafe rules, for the safety of humans and the cats. We would appreciate you removing your shoes when you enter the lounge, but it is not required. This helps with the cleanliness of the cat lounge, and also if a kitty tail happens to be stepped on... Please sanitize your hands when entering and exiting the cat lounge.

Our Cat Lounge is for ages 7+ only. Except for the Kitty Play Time time slots, which will be available at certain limited times, and open to all ages. All visitors under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Each visitor will need to complete a waiver, with parents to complete for any visitor under 18 years of age. No strollers please. The waiver that needs completed prior to visit will be emailed at time of booking confirmation.

We recommend arriving and checking in at least 10 minutes in advance of your reservation to ensure a timely check in. We do accommodate walk-ins based on availability in the cat lounge. Though we HIGHLY recommend booking ahead of time online to ensure you secure a spot!

Reservation times will begin at the top of the hour and conclude after 50 minutes – While waiting for your time slot, guests are encouraged to grab a snack and beverage, purrruse the retail section, and enjoy time watching cats through the windows. Walk-ins are welcome if availability of open time slots allow. Please help monitor your time in the Cat Lounge to allow smooth timely transitions between each group of customers at the top and bottom of each hour. Thank you!

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, and you have not let us know you’re running late, your seat may be given away to a walk-in.
